Fall 2019 Wishlist

First and foremost, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR EVEN VIEWING THIS PAGE. While this will be my second year of teaching, this is my first year in aclassroom, so I do not own a lot of the "normal" teacher items.

Here is a list of things I need and things I'd like for my classroom. The starred items are things I need. The other items are just things that would be nice. :)

I labeled the website source in the title.

Some of the items you may be wondering, this is more of a decoration; is it really neccessary? Well, as odd as it may sound, "the classroom is safe, inviting and organized to support learning objectives" is actually included in our yearly evaluation or T-TESS.

Also, if you know of a cheaper but similar item, just let me know and I'll remove it from the list!

GIFTFUL.COM

(Please be sure to "claim" what you are buying so that I will know what I have left to buy!)

While I won't know the specifics of my students' needs or ability level until RIGHT before school begins, this is a good place to start.

Toys

You are always more than welcome to donate new or gently used toys! For our kids, a good age range for toys is about 18 months to 3 years. Keep in mind that many of my students will have sensory processing issues. If you don't know if an item is particularly good for an autistic student, just do a quick google search! There are parent reviews for EVERYTHING. Or Just message me!

Books

Books are also always welcome! Again, my kids will be working at about an 18 month to 3 year range.

Other Donations

Any other kind of school supply you can think of, we could probably use it! Amazon, Target, Dollar Tree, Half Price, or Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards are ALWAYS super helpful! Or, if you'd like to contribute to me directly, my Venmo is @katie-j-mcgaha-. The biggest things I'll be buying for my personal needs are a giant planner and professional development-type books.

Lastly,

If you'd like to help with some manual labor (yay!) I have an entire classroom of toys and furniture to soak and sanitize. The room is a scattered hot mess (we still don't even know where the curriculum is), so I will also need help organizing! I will begin the process at my school at 8 am on the 23rd.
